How do I synchronize my transactions between DATEV DUO and Qonto with FinAPI (PIN/TAN)?

Through the integration of Qonto with DATEV, you can simplify your accounting while saving time and energy. Our integrations allow you to automatically synchronize transactions, receipts, and invoices between Qonto and DATEV, eliminating time-consuming manual tasks.


👉Important Note: All DATEV integrations are exclusively available for customers with German IBAN at Qonto.

  • All users with the role Account Holder, Admin, or Accountant can set up the DATEV integrations with Qonto.

How do I set up the PIN/TAN interface?

  • You or your tax advisor complete the MyDATEV client registration including rights assignment and access medium and ordering of DATEV Unternehmen Online.

Establish connection with Qonto

Step 1: Add business account to DUO

  • Log in to DUO at duo.datev.de
  • Go to Master Data in the Applications section
  • Click on Company Information → Bank tab
  • Add your Qonto account via + Add bank account
  • Create an HBCI access via Payment Transaction Settings → New / Add
  • Select the Access to Account (XS2A) interface

Step 2: Establish interface connection to Qonto

  • Enter your Qonto IBAN in both fields (login data and account references)
  • Click on Retrieve bank data

Step 3: Synchronize transactions

  • Activate transaction retrieval in the master data
  • Start synchronization via Bank → Bank Homepage
  • Click the Refresh button and select Get account transactions

Done! 🚀 You have now set up the PIN/TAN interface with FinAPI, DATEV, and Qonto.
