Video identification with IDnow is currently available in the following languages:

Do I have to complete the video identification in one of these languages?
Yes. The entire identification process must be conducted fully in one of the supported languages.
Am I allowed to use an interpreter during the video identification?
🚨 No, interpreters are not permitted during IDnow VideoIdent.
The participant must be able to communicate independently in one of the supported languages. This is a legal requirement for successful identity verification.
How does the video identification process work technically?
- You will receive a link or be redirected in the app to start the VideoIdent process.
- During a live video call, you will show your official ID (identity card, passport, etc.) to an IDnow agent.
- The agent verifies your documents and may ask questions to confirm your identity.
- The process typically takes only a few minutes.
- After successful verification, you receive confirmation, and the process is complete.

What if I don’t speak any of the supported languages?
If you do not speak one of the supported languages, the identification cannot be completed. Please contact our customer support for possible alternative solutions.
