What is EBICS and how does it work with my Qonto account?
EBICS (Electronic Banking Internet Communication Standard) is a secure, standardized protocol for electronic banking communication widely used in Germany and across Europe. It enables businesses to exchange financial data with their banks in a highly secure and efficient manner.
EBICS serves as a digital bridge between your company's financial systems and your bank, allowing you to:
- Submit payment orders electronically without manual intervention
- Retrieve account statements and transaction data automatically
- Exchange financial documents in standardized formats (such as SEPA XML files)
- Manage cash flow with real-time access to banking information
| 💡EBICS connection setup is available via the Accounts Payable add-on, which is accessible on all Team plans (Essential, Business, and Enterprise) |
What are the steps to complete the EBICS setup?
