To qualify, open your account between March 16th and March 30th, 2026, and spend at least €800 per month on your Qonto cards for 3 consecutive months. Your qualifying period starts 1 month after account activation, and the €250 cashback will be credited to your account after 4 months once you meet all conditions.

Am I eligible for this promotion?

To be eligible for this cashback promotion, you must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Your company must be registered in Germany: 

  • Your business must have a German business address and legal registration
  • The physical location of the business owner doesn't determine eligibility – what matters is your company's legal registration in Germany
  • Businesses registered in other countries are not eligible, even if they actively operate in Germany

2. You must be a first-time Qonto customer:

  • You are opening a Qonto account for the first time
  • You have never been a Qonto customer before
  • Opening an additional account besides an existing one during the promotion timeframe will not qualify for the cashback

3. You must open your account during the promotional period (March 16th and March 30th, 2026):

  • Account opening and successful completion of KYB verification must occur between March 16th and March 30th, 2026
  • Accounts opened before or after this period are not eligible

4. Your business must be in an eligible segment:

  • Eligible business segments include: Solo, Micro, Small, and CC

5. All price plans are eligible

  • All Qonto price plans qualify for the €250 cashback promotion

 

How do I meet the spending requirements?

Your qualification period begins 1 month after account activation. You must then spend at least €800 per month with your Qonto card(s) for three consecutive months, totaling €2,400.
 
☝️ Important: The evaluation periods are not based on calendar months, but on 30/31-day periods starting from your account activation date.
 
How spending periods are calculated:
 
The first evaluation period begins exactly one month after your account activation and lasts 30 or 31 days. The second and third periods follow consecutively.
 
Concrete example:
  • Account activation: March 16, 2026
  • First evaluation period: April 16 to May 16 (31 days) – €800 required
  • Second evaluation period: May 17 to June 16 (31 days) – €800 required
  • Third evaluation period: June 17 to July 16 (30 days) – €800 required
  • Cashback credit: After July 16, once all conditions are met
⚠️ Only settled transactions count – Transactions that have not yet been settled will not be included in the calculation.
 
Monthly spending rules:
  • You must reach the minimum of €800 in each of the three consecutive evaluation periods – if you spend less in a single period, you will be disqualified from the promotion
  • All card spending across all Qonto cards (physical and virtual) counts toward your threshold
  • Team members' card spending contributes to reaching the required spending limit
Pricing plan and account requirements:
  • Keep your chosen Qonto pricing plan or upgrade during the qualification period
  • Downgrading to a lower-value pricing plan at any point during the qualification period results in immediate loss of cashback eligibility, even if the monthly spending requirements have already been met
  • Pricing plan changes made after the spending period expires and after the cashback has been credited do not affect your eligibility
  • Maintain an active account in good standing throughout the entire 4-month qualification period

 

What transactions count toward the spending requirement?

Only card transactions made with your physical and/or virtual Qonto cards count towards the €800 monthly spending requirement. All other payment methods and account activities are excluded.

Qualifying transactions include:

  • Point-of-sale (POS) transactions at physical locations
  • Online purchases
  • Contactless payments
  • Any card payment that successfully processes

Non-qualifying transactions include:

  • Cash withdrawals at ATMs
  • Bank transfers (SEPA, instant, or international)
  • Direct debits and standing orders
  • Internal transfers between Qonto accounts
  • Refunds or reversed transactions
  • Any non-card payment methods

Monitor your monthly card spending directly in your Qonto app or web dashboard:

Go to Business account → Transactions and filter by card transactions only to check that you're on track to spend €800 per month.

 

When and how will I receive my cashback?

Once you fulfill all spending conditions, the €250 will be credited directly to your Qonto business account after the 4th month following account activation.

Requirements for receiving cashback:

  • You must complete all three consecutive months of €800+ card spending
  • Your Qonto plan must not have been downgraded during the qualifying period
  • Your account must remain active and in good standing at the time of payment

Combining with other offers:

  • You can combine this cashback with any add-on promotions
  • This cashback cannot be stacked with referral bonuses or partner voucher codes
