How do I use Qonto's AI Agents?

  • Updated

Qonto has designed two AI agents integrated directly into your account to save you time every day: The Operator to act faster on your account, and The Analyst to understand your data.

These AI agents are accessible through the chat bubble, available for all plans and all users on both πŸ’» web and πŸ“± mobile.

The Operator β†’ is your entry point for requests in Qonto – it prepares and executes actions from a simple message (transfers, invoice creation, card recommendations, etc.).

The Analyst β†’ analyzes your financial data on demand – ask a question, and it searches your Qonto transaction history to respond immediately.

How do I access the AI Agents?

What can The Operator do for me?

Consider The Operator as your personal assistant, always ready to help. When you contact us, it takes over and executes actions on your Qonto account from a simple instruction.

The Operator can help you:

  • Send transfers: Create one-time, scheduled, or recurring transfers
  • Pay multiple invoices: Process bulk payments (mass transfers) in one go
  • Manage beneficiaries: Create new beneficiaries from an IBAN or bank details
  • Handle cards: Create or manage your physical and virtual cards
  • Generate invoices or quotes: Create individual documents or bulk creation from a file (πŸ”œ individual invoice creation coming soon on mobile)
  • Connect to analysis: Redirect you to The Analyst for analytical questions
  • Access human support: Connect you to customer support when your request requires human assistance

☝️ The Operator always submits a confirmation before executing an action. You keep control at every step.

Examples of what you can ask:

  • "Transfer €2,000 to [supplier] for the March invoice."
  • "I have 5 supplier invoices to pay." β†’ After uploading them, The Operator prepares the grouped payment at once
  • "Create invoices for these 8 clients from this CSV file"
  • "I have a seminar in the UK next week for 2 people – which card do you recommend for this trip?"
  • "I have a problem with a transaction." β†’ The Operator connects you directly to an advisor

What can The Analyst do for me?

The Analyst analyzes your financial data on demand: ask a question, and it explores your Qonto history to explain your spending patterns (trends, variations, anomalies) and quantify them (amounts, differences in € and %, by category, supplier, or period).

The Analyst helps you understand what's happening in your finances and why. It can compare periods, identify anomalies, break down spending by category or supplier, and export data for further analysis.

Examples of what you can ask:

  • "Why did marketing expenses increase this month? Break them down by supplier and category."
  • "Show me my top 10 suppliers this month vs. last month, quantify the difference (€ and %), and explain the main causes."
  • "What are the 3 biggest anomalies compared to last month?"
  • "What is my average monthly software spending over the last 6 months?"
  • "Export only the counterparty and amount in CSV."

What are the best practices for interacting with the AI Agents?

To get responses that are both accurate and fast from our AI Agents, follow these best practices:

  • Be specific in how you formulate your questions.
  • Indicate relevant time periods (for example: "between 01/01/2026 and 14/02/2026," "last month," "second quarter," or "since the beginning of the year").
  • Specify categories or suppliers when you're looking for specific information.
  • Ask follow-up questions to deepen your data analysis.
  • Group multiple elements into a single question (for example: "What was our main marketing expense category last quarter?").

The more context and precision you provide, the more relevant and actionable the AI Agents' responses will be. Don't hesitate to refine your questions based on the initial responses you receive.

How does Qonto protect my data with AI Agents?

The AI Agents access only the data from your Qonto account. They collect and use only the data strictly necessary within your authenticated session.

The security applied is the same as across the entire Qonto platform. Your data remains hosted in Europe πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί and is not used to train other AI models outside of those developed by Qonto. For any questions, you can refer to our Terms and Conditions regarding AI.

⚠️ Our AI Agents are designed to assist you and complement the standard management tools of your Qonto account. They do not replace your professional judgment or human supervision.

All conversations with the AI Agents are conducted within your secure, authenticated session. No data is shared outside of the Qonto ecosystem, and the same security standards that protect your financial operations also protect your interactions with the AI Agents.

You maintain full control: The Operator always asks for confirmation before executing any action. Your data remains hosted in Europe and is not used to train other AI models outside of those developed by Qonto.
