Missing-receipt reminders are available on the Smart, Premium, Essential, Business, and Enterprise plans.
How can I manage receipt reminders?
To facilitate receipt collection on Qonto, we send the following :
- weekly reminders to transaction initiators, highlighting transactions without attachments
- weekly summaries of missing receipts to the Owner and Admins.
-
You can also use Invoice Collector to collect missing receipts directly from supported counterparties.
These reminders are activated by default.
Invoice Collector is available through the AP add-on, with a 30‑day free trial.
💡 Attachments on Qonto have probative value, which means, organizations no longer need to keep paper receipts: paper and digital receipts have the same legal value.
Owner and Admins can deactivate and reactivate receipts reminders on web app:
1. Go to the Settings section
2. Click on Missing-receipt reminders
3. Choose the automation you want to deactivate or reactivate
👆 It is not possible to turn off notifications on mobile.
How can I set up rules to auto-block cards in case of too many missing receipts?
The feature is available on the Expense & Spend Management add-on.
How to create or update the rules?
To force cardholders to upload their receipt on Qonto, Admins and Owners can set up a rule to auto-block cards after too many late receipts.
To set up the rules, Admins and Owners go to Settings → Missing receipt rules → open the Auto-block cards toggle.
Admins and owners need to define the parameters of the rules:
- Mark receipts as late after x days
- Block cards after x late receipts
- Apply to: all team members with cards OR select specific team members
- Select or no select: apply to new team member cards automatically
Cardholders will be notified by email and push notification when the rules are created or updated.
The rules will apply to all cards of a cardholder.
💡 Note:
- Late receipts = a transaction without a receipt after X days (defined in the rules)
- Missing receipts = a transaction without a receipt
