Am I eligible for the Smart Plan promotional offer?
You can benefit from this 1-month Smart Plan promotion if you meet all these conditions:
- You have an active Qonto account with a monthly Basic Plan
- You've completed your first 30 free trial days (you can apply while your trial is still active, but the promotion takes effect after the trial ends)
- You've never used this Smart Plan promotional offer before (valid only once per account)

How do I activate my Smart Plan promotion?
- Log into your Qonto account on 💻 web
- Click on Settings from the left panel
- Go to Billing and invoicing and select the Price plan details tab
- Click on Change Plans
- Ensure Monthly is selected in the top right corner
- Click Choose under the Smart Plan and follow the instructions
What features can I access during the promotional period?
During your 1-month Smart Plan promotion, you'll unlock advanced features while keeping your Basic Plan pricing:
Enhanced business account features:
- 100 transfers and direct debits per month (70 more than Basic Plan)
- Two check deposits included
- Create a second account to better organize your finances
- Unlimited virtual cards
- Reduced SWIFT transfer fees: €5 + 0.9% (instead of €5 + 1%)
- Grouped transfers for batch payments
Advanced financial management tools:
- Dedicated accountant access with view-only permissions
- Automatic receipt matching: Forward receipts by email and they'll automatically match to transactions
- Automatic VAT detection on transactions
- Customizable transaction labels for better organization
- Certified proof-of-purchase transfer to your accountant
- Supplier management tools with dedicated tabs and custom labels

How does billing work during and after the promotion?
During the 1-month promotional period:
You'll continue to pay your regular Basic Plan price (€11/month excl. VAT) while accessing all Smart Plan features at no additional cost.
After the promotional period ends:
- To upgrade to Smart Plan: No action needed - you'll automatically continue on the Smart Plan at €23/month (excl. VAT)
- To return to Basic Plan: Cancel your promotion anytime before it expires by following the steps below

How do I cancel my Smart Plan promotion?
You can cancel anytime during your 1-month promotional period:
- Log into your Qonto account on 💻 web
- Click on Settings from the left panel
- Go to Billing and invoicing and select the Price plan details tab
- Click on Change Plans
- Select the Basic Plan and follow the instructions
⚠️ Before canceling: If you created a second account or invited your accountant with dedicated access, you'll need to close that account and revoke the accountant access first, as these features aren't available on the Basic Plan. Learn more about downgrading your plan.
What happens if I don't cancel before the promotion expires?
If your promotion expires without cancellation, you'll automatically upgrade to the Smart Plan. Your account will be charged the Smart Plan rate (€23/month excl. VAT) on a pro-rata basis for the remaining days of the month.
You can still downgrade to the Basic Plan after expiration by going to Settings > Billing and invoicing > Price plan details on 💻 web. When you downgrade, you'll receive a credit for the price difference between the two plans, calculated pro-rata for the remaining days in the month.
