How can I update my email address?

Do you have access to your Qonto application?

  1. Go to Settings at the bottom left, then click on Personal settings > Personal profile.
  2. Click the Edit button located below your current e-mail address.
  3. You can then enter your new e-mail address.
  4. Confirm it by entering the 6-digit verification code sent to your e-mail.
  5. If you have set up strong authentication, you will receive a confirmation request on your linked phone.
  6. If you haven’t set up strong authentication yet, enter the confirmation code received by SMS.
  7. All done: your e-mail address has been updated!

📱 From the mobile app

  1. Go to the Menu section, then click on ⚙️ at the top right of your screen.
  2. Click on your profile.
  3. Next to your current e-mail address, click the pencil icon on the right.
  4. Then, enter your new e-mail address.
  5. Confirm it by entering the 6-digit verification code sent to your e-mail.
  6. If you have set up strong authentication, you will receive a confirmation request on your linked phone.
  7. If you haven’t set up strong authentication yet, enter the confirmation code received by SMS.
  8. All done: your e-mail address has been updated!

Want to connect a new phone but no longer have access to your email?

If you want to pair a new phone with your Qonto account but no longer have access to your current email address, and you still have access to the Qonto app on your old phone: you can update your email address directly from your old phone by following the steps below.

Once your email is updated, you'll be able to log in to your new phone with your new email address.

Have you already set a password?

If you haven’t set a password yet (you signed up with Google / Apple), you will need to set one when updating your e-mail address.

In addition to the steps above 👆:

  1. After entering your 6-digit verification code, you will be logged out of your account.
  2. You will receive another e-mail with instructions to set your password.
  3. Click the link in this e-mail to set your password.

Don’t have access to your Qonto account or seeing an error message?

To make this change, we need to verify your identity to ensure that no one is trying to impersonate you (you can never be too careful). 🕵️‍♂️

Please provide the following and send it to us via chat:

  • selfie, holding your ID close to your face along with a blank sheet of paper showing the current date and the word QONTO handwritten.

  • Also provide the following information:
  1. Your company name
  2. SIREN
  3. Last name
  4. First name
  5. New e-mail address

Note: you can manage multiple Qonto accounts with a single e-mail address. Just click on your company logo at the top left of the app and select "+Add another company". You can then easily switch between different companies in the Qonto app.
